The Brief
A family-friendly but stylish boiling water tap for the ultimate in convenience was needed for popular online content creators.
Our Solution
With an Instagram following of nearly 1.5m between them, you could say that ‘Father of Daughters’ and ‘Mother of Daughters’ – otherwise known as Simon and Clemmie Hooper – are influential in the social media sphere of all things parenting. But alongside lighthearted content based around their busy lives with four young daughters, and Clemmie’s work as a midwife, they also share interiors updates with their followers.
Recently they renovated the kitchen in their Victorian property in Kent, breathing life into the hub of their home. Opting for classic Borough Market green units, the kitchen is kept fresh and modern with marble-inspired quartz worktops, off- walls, brass handles and pale pink accent tiles behind the Range.
“As with most families, our kitchen really is the heart of the home,” comments Simon, “and having lived in the house for 2 years, we felt it was time to really put our own stamp on it. As our following has grown, we’ve started to include more posts on interiors, giving followers a glimpse into our home, any new furnishings and room updates.”
It was after seeing a friend – and fellow content creator – Lily Pebbles’ new kitchen that Clemmie and Simon realized they must have an instant boiling tap in their new kitchen. “In a world where everything is available on demand, waiting for a kettle to boil seems positively stone-aged, especially when we’re time poor, so getting a HydroTap by Zip Water was a no-brainer for us. “It’s all about convenience”, continues Simon, “Clemmie and I both have days where we work from home so it’s great to be able to have hot drinks within seconds. The filtered ambient water encourages us all to drink more water, as it actually tastes nice and we don’t need to buy and store bottled water.”
Another important consideration was safety. With four young family members, Simon and Clemmie needed reassurance that the tap would be completely safe.
